Does Chocolate Photo Favors take the actual photo for the edible picture piece of the chocolate favor ?

No. Chocolate Photo Favors designs the favor based on a photo you provide to us.

So IS the picture completely edible ?

Yes, the whole favor (picture and frame) is completely edible!

DO YOUR CHOCOLATE PHOTO FAVORS COME FULLY-ASSEMBLED OR DO THEY REQUIRE SOME SELF-ASSEMBLY WHEN I RECEIVE MY ORDER ?

Because we understand you have enough to worry about in planning your own celebration, Chocolate Photo Favors come FULLY ASSEMBLED!; therefore, there is no manual work required on your part. As a result, you can simply distribute your Chocolate Photo Favors from the moment you receive them!

How long is the lead time for Chocolate Photo Favors to fulfill my order ?

To your doorstep, there is a 3-week lead-time, on average, from the moment you approve our “draft proof.” Because we want to ensure your satisfaction, we provide a draft proof of your photo before scheduling production of your order. As a result, the lead-time is measured from the time you approve our draft, not necessarily the time you place your order.

When you say “draft proof,” do you mean you will send me an actual Chocolate Photo Favor with my picture on it in the mail ?

No. The draft proof is your selected photo with your personalized saying illustrated; hence the draft proof refers to the edible photo of the favor. This draft proof is e-mailed to you (or sent via U.S. Mail based on your preference). As a result, Chocolate Photo Favors is requesting your approval of the edible photo, and therefore, we are NOT sending you an actual Chocolate Photo Favor.

How do you prevent the chocolate from melting when shipping ?

Where applicable and necessary, Chocolate Photo Favors packages your chocolates in a Styrofoam cooler with ice packs. We also request pertinent information from you to ensure someone is available to receive the package, thus preventing your order from sitting on the doorstep in direct sunlight.

Do you manufacture the chocolate and what are the ingredients of your edible supplies ?

Chocolate Photo Favors does not manufacture the chocolate or the edible supplies. We contract with multiple suppliers to provide the edible supplies to bring you our artistically-designed party favors. Feel free to contact us to request the ingredients.

Is there a satisfaction guarantee ?

Absolutely! We are confident you will be 100% satisfied with your order. The edible nature of our product line and the pre-approval process we require before scheduling production, are designed to ensure your satisfaction. In the unlikely event your order is damaged (melted, broken, etc.), we will be happy to take the necessary actions to ensure your order is complete to your satisfaction. Chocolate Photo Favors are not returnable, once an order has been shipped.

Can I get my Chocolate Photo Favors within a week ?

Of course we will do our best to ship your Chocolate Photo Favors as soon as possible. Contingent upon our schedule at the time of your expedited request, we will try to accommodate shipping your favors within one week provided we have:

1) your photo
2) your payment has cleared
3) you have agreed to our company disclaimer
4) you have approved our draft proof.

A minimum surcharge of $100 will be applied to large quantity rush orders. A large quantity order is considered 3 dozen or more. Please refer to our Company Policy for more details.

Why can’t I order less than the minimum quantity ?

Chocolate Photo Favors attempts to pass on savings where applicable to our customers. There are fixed costs associated with the edible printing and paper. The minimum quantity is designed to optimize our cost structure so we can pass that savings onto you. Please contact us for special pricing associated with orders less than the minimum quantity.

Does Chocolate Photo Favors offer discounts ?

Absolutely! We always want our existing customers to come back for more edible photo fun. Chocolate Photo Favors does offer discounts, based on quantity ordered. Please refer to our Pricing Schedule to learn more about the discounts we offer.

Is sending you a digital photo via e-mail, BETTER THAN sending a normal picture in the mail ?

Absolutely! We prefer a digital photo, but it is not essential. Of course, the better the quality the photo you send us, the better quality reflected on your Chocolate Photo Favor. As a result, digital photos are easier, better quality, and improve the speed to fulfill your order. Chocolate Photo Favors does not enhance your photo, we simply package your photo into a unique party favor. However, we do accept photos via U.S. Mail.

Does Chocolate Photo Favors work with Landscape images in addition to Portrait images ?

Absolutely! Although our Chocolate Mold Gallery may illustrate edible pictures in portrait style, we can certainly make them in a landscape view. We recommend the Announcement Mold and Traditional Mold for landscape views.

Can I get a sample of a Chocolate Photo Favor before I decide to purchase ?

We can certainly make special arrangements to send a sample and will charge a $25 flat fee (anywhere in the 50 United States). This $25 flat rate charge includes:

· 2 Chocolate Photo Favors

· A “Flavor Assortment” of bite-size trials representing the different chocolate flavors

· Company Literature

· Shipping and Handling charges to prevent sample packages from breaking and melting.

In the event you decide to place an order, we will be happy to credit your account the $25 fee, provided your order includes a quantity equal-to or greater-than 3 dozen Chocolate Photo Favors (36 Chocolate Photo Favors).

You can easily pay the $25 fee, using 1 of our 3 Payment Methods. Your sample favor pack will be shipped upon clearance of your payment.

How do you ship Chocolate Photo Favors ?

We highly recommend over-night shipping all year around, due to the edible nature. We will always ship your order over-night, during the seasonal months from May through September; with the option for you to choose 2 or 3 day shipping from October through April.

Can I get a free quote with no-obligation to purchase ?

Absolutely! Just click on Get a Free Quote on our user-friendly website, and submit the requested information. We will get back to you in a timely manner with your free quote!

If I want to place an order after receiving my free quote, what do I do ?

You can simply Contact Us, or follow Step 2 within our Easy-Order Process. This tells you exactly what you need to do to place your order.

Can I have an assortment of CHOCOLATE TYPES or an assortment of colors with my order? For example, if I order 150 antique molds, can I get 50 in White Chocolate, 50 in Peanut Butter Chocolate and 50 in lavender-color White chocolate ?

Yes, we will be happy to accommodate split-flavor/split-color orders. There will however, be a $25 fee charged for each unique chocolate type and color combination. For example, if you placed this particular order for a 150 Antique molds and you requested 50 white chocolate, 50 dark chocolate, and 50 lavender-color white chocolate, a $75 fee will be charged to your order.

Do you have any tips for maintaining my Chocolate Photo Favors ?

Can I cancel my order without a penalty ?

There is no penalty for canceling your order more than 72 hours from your schedule production date. Your scheduled production date will be referenced on your order. There are, however, penalty charges for canceling your order less than 72 hours from the scheduled production date. Please refer to our Company Policies for more details.

What does Chocolate Photo Favors need from me, in order for my order to be confirmed ?

There are 3 important items Chocolate Photo Favors needs to confirm your order:

1) Your Photo (we prefer a .jpeg format file of your picture sent via e-mail; however you may certainly send your photo to us through U.S. Mail at our Correspondence Mailing Address
2) Your signature (or e-mail approval) verifying that you have read and agree to the disclaimer
3) Clearance of your payment based upon 1 of the 3 Payment Methods

Once we have these three items we will send you confirmation with a scheduled production date.

How do you plan the “scheduled production date ?”

We primarily target delivery of your Chocolate Photo Favors within one week prior to your celebration. Although we can certainly send them to you anytime, we prefer to give you enough time to accommodate any unforeseen circumstances. The “schedule production date” is usually 2-3 weeks (depending on the size of the order) prior to your celebration date. Again, we can certainly ship your order far in advance from your celebration date, but that is entirely your choice.

Are Chocolate Photo Favors only for parties ?

Absolutely not! In fact, you can share your Chocolate Photo Favors in a variety of ways! In addition to party favors, you can send them to friends and family for the holidays, for birthdays, etc. or use them for business purposes. Our Chocolate Mold Gallery also provides ideas as to how you can use your Chocolate Photo Favors for table centerpieces, birthday gifts, graduation gifts and much more!

Can I get an idea of the measurements of each chocolate mold as well as the edible picture size for each mold ?

Sure! Dimensions for each chocolate mold and the corresponding edible picture size can be found in our Chocolate Mold Gallery.

Can I scan my photo and e-mail to you if I don’t have a digital camera ?

Absolutely! When scanning photographs, please use a resolution of 300 dots per inch (dpi) or higher. Please save the file in a .JPEG format and e-mail the .JPEG directly to us. Please do NOT insert your scanned photo into a Microsoft Word, Powerpoint, Excel or any other type document. If you are uncomfortable scanning your picture, please send us the photo through the U.S. mail and we will scan it for you (free of charge). Your original photo will be returned with your shipment.

Are there any particular settings I should use on my digital camera for an edible photo ?

Please use your digital camera with the highest possible resolution. High resolution can always be reduced, but low resolution images CANNOT be increased without sacrificing image quality.

Are there any file size restrictions we can send to Chocolate Photo Favors ?

We would appreciate limiting your file size to 3 MB or less. In the unlikely event your file is larger than 3 MB, we ask that you ZIP it. (WinZip is compression software usually available through most Microsoft packages).

Can Chocolate Photo Favors enhance the quality of my picture ?

The image for your Chocolate Photo Favors will be reproduced in the condition we receive your picture. In some cases, we may have to crop your picture to fit the chocolate mold you selected. Additionally, we may have to make minor adjustments to accommodate your personalized saying. However, Chocolate Photo Favors will not color-correct or re-touch your image; hence, we do not attempt to improve the quality of your photo. For your satisfaction, we will, of course, request your approval of a “draft proof” before we provide a scheduled production date. Please refer to our Easy-Order Process for more details.

The Styrofoam cooler I received with my favors was damaged, but the favors were not damaged. Will you send me another cooler even though the contents were not damaged ?

Using the Styrofoam cooler is strictly a preventative measure we employ to insure your Chocolate Photo Favors are not damaged in the shipping process. The Styrofoam coolers are not necessary for maintaining your Chocolate Photo Favors.

What ARE THE BASIC CHOICES I HAVE TO MAKE when placing an order ?

1) Chocolate Mold: select a Chocolate Mold from our Mold Gallery
2) Chocolate Flavor: select a flavor from from our Flavor Palette
3) Chocolate Color: colors only apply to orders of White Chocolate. To help clarify
further, we do not recommend coloring dark chocolate, peanut butter chocolate,
milk chocolate or lemon chocolate.
